Key roles include strategic oversight and technical backstopping of all projects on the Reforestation of Degraded Forests and the Protection of riparian ecosystems Undertake mapping out of degraded forest hotspots in the county for rehabilitation; Develop participatory management plans for all forests in the county Develop a comprehensive afforestation plan of all county forests with an emphasis onindigenous tree species; Upscale the current Programme on greening of urban centers including schools, hospitalsand roads; Develop specific county forest management plans in every county-gazetted forest; FastTrack gazettement of county forest and hilltops for conservation;

Most of them are subsistence farmers whose farming practices have led to the deforestation of their land and the degradation of their local and global environment. The Impact of Climate Change on vulnerable communities has led to untold suffering of families, especially women and children.Trees for the Future is a non-profit organization that strives to end deforestation, hunger, and extreme poverty for farmers in sub-Saharan Africa. They achieve this goal by implementing the "Forest Garden Approach," which is a regenerative agricultural practice. This approach incorporates smart agricultural technologies to promote sustainable agricultural productivity. Additionally, it helps in climate change mitigation and improves household social and economic security.Key achievements Led in developing and implementing the country's Carbon agroforestry strategy. Instituted cost-cutting measures across departments through supply chain management reducing budgets by 25% in four years. Growing Trees forest garden program expanded from two to twenty-six projects, improving food security, income, and nutrition for 615000+ farming families within 5 years. Led country strategies in resource mobilization, donor identification, pitching, and proposal writing, I secured Carbon credit funding from Shell Inc., AGRA, and KCB  Maintained healthy relationships with stakeholders, including government, NGOs, private sector, donors, and rural communities. Ensures close communication between country program staff regional director and HQ by maintaining a weekly Coordinator Spreadsheet with all project information..

Plan International is one of the oldest and largest children's development organizations in the world. The organization works in 50 developing countries across Africa, Asia, and the Americas to promote child rights and lift millions of children out of poverty particularly those who are excluded or marginalized. Plan International Kenya implements projects in six thematic areas; Child protection, Education, Health, Livelihood, Governance, and WASH. Plan's vision is of a world in which all children realize their full potential in societies that respect people's rights and dignity.Key achievements Provided technical oversight to the design and implementation of climate-resilient Food Security and Livelihood programs, ensuring that they are based upon high-quality Vulnerability/needs assessments and are in line with the theory of change, national policies, and international best practices. Led in supervision and oversight of project activities relating to all program activities that led to improved performance of all food security and livelihood activities in the program resulting in doubled farm production, incomes, and improved socio-economic status. Ensured efficient and effective project implementation including the timely completion of high-quality work plans, accurate reports, and other related activities, which led to further funding for the program from DFID. Trained 3,675 small-scale farmer producer groups benefiting 73,500 farming families on conservation agriculture, agroecology, soil conservation, and climate-smart agricultural practices to mitigate the effects of climate change and loss of land productivity. Established 150 Green schools to increase tree cover in collaboration with Kenya Scouts and Kenya Forestry Service planting 5 million+ trees including fruit trees

East Africa Dairy Development Project).EADDP is funded by Bill and Melinda gates Foundation. EADD vision is to transform the lives of 179,000 families or approximately one million people by doubling household dairy income through integrated interventions in dairy production, market access and knowledge application using the Hub model approach.My role involved mobilization and strengthening of producer groups, Gender Mainstreaming, networking and Financial linkages for small scale producers.

It primarily focuses on lobbying and advocating for policies that benefit farmers within the Kenyan agricultural sector.In my capacity, I was responsible for coordinating field programs, business planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, staff appraisals, networking, and engaging in policy influence through lobbying and advocacy.
