Mr. Netzer is an ecologist and geospatial expert that works at Revalue Nature providing scientific-based solutions to environmental and social problems primarily in the field of forestry, carbon sequestration, land-use change, hydrology, climate change, and climate adaptation. For over fourteen years he has assisted projects and clients around the world to develop environmentally robust carbon projects that meet international compliance and Voluntary Market Standards (VCS). Along with carbon project development, his work includes geospatial modeling for deforestation and forest degradation, hydrological modeling, remote sensing, monitoring of peatland hydrology, and downscaling climate change models to assess risks and opportunities for climate adaptation. A regular part of Mr. Netzer’s work is liaising with clients, funders, government officials, scientists, and working directly with stakeholders, from farmers to local NGO’s. Currently, Mr. Netzer is the Technical Carbon Lead for Revalue Nature LLC.
