Negotiate with other agencies to achieve policy outcomes acceptable to both parties. Evaluate processes to determine whether policies and procedures are meeting their intended purpose. Formulate information policies and procedures through research and consultation and to contribute to the inclusion of these in the Operations Procedure Manual. Develop the Police Information Centre’s internal procedure manual and actively communicate the contents to staff and Service generally. Ensure that information is disseminated from the Police Information Centre in a manner that accords with the law and Service-wide policy and procedures. Measure performance and quality in relation to the release of information. Develop and maintain effective lines of communication with management, operational police and other external groups/agencies.

Active Naval Reservist, Lieutenant at Royal Australian Navy with Fleet Battle Staff. I have been involved in many major fleet exercises, including Sea Series, Talisman Sabre and Rimpac. These exercises can involve the command and control of large numbers of naval vessels in task groups.

Assess reports of archaeological artefact discoveries and advice the delegate about appropriate management of artifacts and the places in which they have been found.Assess and advise on applications seeking approval for the development on State heritage places with archaeological values.
