As a software developer with over four years of experience, I specialize in Microservice architecture, Front-End and Back-End development, and API integration. My expertise includes mastering Java and JavaScript to build robust applications using the MVC architecture, coupled with writing comprehensive tests and debugging to ensure high-quality outcomes. Driven by a passion for excelling in a competitive tech landscape, I continuously strive to be at the forefront of software engineering.In Front-End development, I am proficient with ReactJS and AngularTS, leveraging these frameworks to tackle real-world challenges through innovative JavaScript-based solutions. My Back-End skills are demonstrated through my work with Spring Boot, Java Spark, and Python Flask, as well as developing applications using ExpressJS with Firebase functions for CI/CD on GCP. Currently, I focus on creating RESTful and SOAP APIs.I have built a variety of applications, including an Android Fitness App that allows users to find gyms using ZIP codes via the Yelp API and access fitness tutorials from YouTube, integrating Firebase for database management and authentication. Additionally, I developed a CRUD application, Hero-Squad, using Spark-Java and the MVC framework. This app enables users to manage hero profiles and is deployable on Heroku using Gradle and Maven. I am adept at using Git and creating test suites for unit and instrumentation testing, utilizing Mocha for JavaScript and JUnit and Espresso for Android.To further my development skills, I completed over 1200 hours in the Moringa Software Development program through a scholarship, working on AngularTS and Java-Spark projects.
