Galloway Group Limited Senior CAD Engineer/Draughtsman Working with AutoCad 2010 & CADmep+ co-ordinating ductwork ventilationsystems.My role involved site surveys, co-ordination of mechanical and electrical services, working alongside consultants to co-ordinate and producemanufacturing and working 3D ductwork drawings and also attending handover and progress meetings with clients.I quickly progressed with the company and project managed a number of contracts where my duties included co-ordinating logistics, labour returns and working to tight programmes. Alongside the role of project manager I fully co-ordinated the ductwork systems in 3D, overlaying 2D design drawings of other services and adding heights and zoning notes to the 3D ventilation drawings. Dueto a down turn in the construction and engineering industry I felt that thetemporary career change would enable me to gain valuable life experienceand people skills for the future.

S & G EngineeringApprenticeModern apprenticeship in sheet metalwork, fabrication, development and welding. I also worked on various sites installing ductwork. My main role was the development and manufacture of galvanised steel ductwork. On completion of apprenticeship, I progressed to the drawing office to train as a draughtsman, working with Autocad, CAD duct and CAD duct solids.
