I lead a team that overseas the industrial instrumentation portfolio of Rosemount Temperature and Corrosion products. My goal is to ensure our devices have the required features and capabilities to be counted on by automation professionals to run their most critical processes. Below is a small sample of what my team does:• Monitor industry and technology trends, understand their potential implications on instrumentation• Gather requirements from Emerson customers and sales professionals, work with design engineers to turn these into actual products• Develop messaging, training, and collateral to explain how Rosemount temperature products can help improve process production throughput, quality, efficiency, and safety• Help Emerson customers with their questions and challenges with temperature measurement and the applications where they are madeIn previous roles, I have individually managed a variety of Rosemount Pressure, DP Flow, and DP Level products. One of my proudest accomplishments was launching the Rosemount 3051S Electronic Remote Sensors product in 2011. I am a lifelong Emerson employee and love the new challenges and variety of work that happen each day. I am also a member on the board of directors for the Emerson Global Users Exchange, which helps oversee the strategic direction of Emerson’s annual signature customer event. Outside of work I am an avid runner (15+ marathons and counting), amateur cellist, rescue dog enthusiast, and husband + father of two young kids. I am also a fair-weather Minnesota sports fan that still remembers the glory of the Minnesota Twins’ 1991 World Series championship but have since been emotionally scarred from 25+ years of pain and suffering with the local Minnesota sports scene.
