To collaborate on the design and analysis of epidemiological studies undertaken at the MRC Unit in The Gambia.Supporting scientific staff in the choice of the appropriate experimental design for clinical, epidemiological and laboratory-based studies. Contributing to the development of research proposals/protocols by providing statistical expertise. To undertake statistical analyses of entomological data from large cluster-randomized controlled trials and contribute to the preparation of scientific reports and publications.To undertake other research activities as required in the ISEG Malaria group.Pursuing independent research interests that are relevant to the Unit’s research programmes. Teaching on the LSHTM Masters’ courses in medical statistics or epidemiology.

Create and maintain specifications for CDISC SDTM, ADaM, and other deriveddatasets.Program and validate simple and complex datasets according to given specifications.Develop and validate simple and complex statistical tables, data listings, figures, andderived datasets (including STDM and ADaM datasets) for clinical trials data and forintegrated summaries (ISS/ISE).Work closely with other statisticians, programmers, and data managers to ensure timelyand high-quality deliverables.Prepare and review statistical analysis plans and create/check Table/Listing and Figure(TLF) shells, by copying from a similar study or amending a standard template.Assist in the development of internal training courses (Statistics forum in the Nairobi Office).
