I have a proven track record in delivering high financial results along with maintaining strong KPI’s and solutions. I work closely with my management team to ensure communication, health and safety and our commercial position stays strong along with striving to improve all the time. I have senior management experience in warehouse operations, transport and commercial aspects of running a business. To give you an insight into my life before focussing on building a career in the logistics industry I decided to go and work abroad to gain my social skills and to prove I could work alone and develop as a person. I moved to Greece on a one way flight in the hope to find a job working on water sports, within a few days began working on the beach front for the local water sports company. This helped me grow as a person and learn how to work with different types of personalities and professionals. After my first successful season proving I could go abroad alone making a living I decided to go back for a further two season working in a similar area of the island I worked on the water sports in the day and ran the bar in the evening. During off peak season I was working in the UK for a family run business in print and direct mail based in Gloucester, here I learnt more about warehousing and logistics and decided I would enjoy this as a career. I didn’t want to give up on my travelling so I then spent some time travelling Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and a short time in Kenya before deciding to settle in the UK.
