Currently Director in the City of London Police, working nationally across policing in the areas of fraud, economic and cyber crime. I have led operational commands involved in complex and high-profile counter terrorism and child sexual exploitation investigations, including as the Senior Investigating Officer for Operation Yewtree, the investigation of non-recent sexual offences by prominent individuals. Previously as Detective Chief Superintendent in CT Policing I was the National Coordinator for Protect and Prepare, responsible for the protective security of the UK and the preparedness of the police service to respond to a terrorist attack on UK soil, as well as the development of international counter terrorism capability to protect UK citizens overseas.
