Gehl Foods is a food manufacturer comprised of three plants I supported the CNP MES and MRP systems. I met with stake holders to document report uses and needs. This included SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, and other formats. This allowed me to update ETL processes and implement standardizations. I created an Active Directory Role Based Access prototype for SQL and file access. We standardized the Labeling software and added label modification security.

Leprino Foods is a food manufacturer with nine plants across the United States. The corporate Controls Department monitored and maintained the over 750 production servers with the objective to prevent problems before they happened (PPBH).In order to monitor this many servers, we created automated monitoring applications. The data gathered by these applications was collected at the individual sites and then transferred to the corporate servers where it was analyzed. When (possible) issues were determined, the severity was ranked and the appropriate person was notified. The monitoring applications queried databases, servers, logs, routers and firewalls, vSphere, Rubrick, and more. These applications were developed utilizing numerous methods including SQL Queries, PowerShell, WMI calls, APIs, (custom) Services, Scripting/Languages involved SQL stored procedures and user-defined functions, C#, VB (Visual Basic), Java, pHp, and PowerShell. Maintaining these servers included both improvements and upgrades. Improvements generally revolved around PPBH. SQL and File Security was handled via Active Directory Role Based Access. Upgrades included upgrading Windows, SQL, and other software versions. Backups were completed using vSphere (Windows) and Rubrick for SQL.Reporting was handled utilizing SSRS, PowerBI, Crystal Reports, Tableau, Excel, and custom reporting per customer needs. One of the goals was to standardize reporting across sites and departments.Process failures were followed up with Root Cause Analysis. Changes were carried out with Functional Descriptions and Change Requests (including time frames and backout plans).

Work with end users to determine business needs. Create functional descriptions and review with management and process owners. Once approved, develop implementation deadlines and rollout schedules including rollback plan. Much of this work was to improve database integrations with legacy and customer data. Work was completed using C#, SSIS Packages, usually combined with SQL and other scripting languages were utilized including Python, Java, and PHP .

Updated the Collections system per company needs and requirements. Ensure customer Billing Reconciliation and Report accuracy. This included Integrate and Automate ETL data exchange to and from external customer systems. Create, maintain, and optimize SQL stored procedures and udfs.

Maintain, Update, and Integrate the MRP and ERP systems. Convert systems to utilize SQL Databases replacing legacy systems. Maintain and Standardize reporting using Crystal Reports, Excel, MS Access, and custom reports.
