RISK MANAGEMENT: POST APPROVAL CREDIT REVIEWERMUFG Union Bank, N.A., Los Angeles, CA• This Second Line of Defense position in the Credit Management Support Group has the same scope as a Credit Risk Review Examiner and is designed to review a sample of 10% of the monthly approvals by the Credit Administrators. Primary job duties include post-approval review of commercial and corporate loans throughout North and South America (Western Hemisphere).• I average 365 post-approval loan reviews per year comprised of all lending product lines to include middle market, real estate, C&I and private banking along with corporate banking and specialty groups such as entertainment finance.• Considered a subject matter expert in PD and LGD scorecards, HRA Reviews (FDIC) and Regulatory Leverage Lending. Part of a team (20%) that conducted a special HRA review of the portfolio that convinced the FDIC to reduce its insurance assessment by $17 million.• Selected to perform post-approval reviews for MUFG’s New York, Canadian and Latin America Branches.
