- Coordinating deliveries of grain to meet vessels arrival, including liaison with traders, haulage, stevedores, agents, vessel owners and superintendents- Responsibility for related shipping documentation, including invoices, Insurance Certificates, Bills of Lading, Superintendent Certificates- Problem solving including dealing with quality issues, late/ unfit vessels, lack of grain to load to vessels- Stock control, reconciling between stores and trading system. Coordinating deliveries to maximise store efficiency- Chartering suitable vessels to load sale contracts onto directly with vessel owners and through brokers- Responsibility for training and support members of the team including inducting a new team into the company systems, following a company acquisition- Good working knowledge of industry contracts relating to grain shipments- Involvement in the development of the IT systems to make processes more efficient.
