Work with our Operations team to understand all data requirements, including list sources behind a direct marketing project, production needs and the guiding strategy. Perform extraction, transformation and loading, as well as other data management tasks. Be responsible for unit testing results to ensure code meets its design goal and behaves as intended. Process ad hoc data import and data export requests. Perform merge/purge processing, segmentation and appends. Use internal tools to streamline and automate manual tasks. Use the Integrated Data Services Platform.Develop a detailed data understanding of the data in order to evaluate data sets for internal consistency and integrity. Support multiple marketing programs by gathering and analyzing data, generating reports and communicating findings. Write and debug queries and stored procedures that connect disparate data sources. Identify ways to improve existing systems.

Responsibilities include manipulating data to meet project requirements, using SQL to make database updates, as well as creating reports for our clients. Other daily tasks include loading data into our databases, encrypting data-sensitive files for our clients, posting files on our client-facing websites, and much more. This position requires the ability to compose fast and accurate SQL statements for statistical analysis. I also help build new SQL scripts to fix data issues as well as work with our operations, quality assurance, and systems teams to get data updates made in all environments.
