Michael Pearson is an experienced strategy and corporate development executive, strategy consultant, board director and investor. He has more than 30 years of experience in financial services and strategy consulting and is recognised globally as an expert on fintech, and more generally on strategy and innovation in financial services.Michael has advised start-ups, investors and established companies in developed and developing markets on strategy, innovation and all aspects of corporate development. He has acted as a director of several financial services companies, and was until recently a non-executive director of Tanmeyah, a successful Egyptian microfinance company.Michael has produced numerous research and thought leadership reports on financial services strategy, innovation and best practices for clients such as Infosys, KPMG and Google. His current research is focused on fintech strategies, financing, performance and valuation.Michael has an MA from Cambridge University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and has been trained to act as a company director at the Institute of Directors in London.
