Well here we go.... By trade I`m a Fitter, I Started an Apprenticeship as a Fitter/Machinist. It was character building that`s for sure where I did my apprenticeship...I moved over to Pirtek where I spent 7 years of my life that I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Hydraulics is where I felt comfortable. The Breakdown Basis and Customer Interaction is what I felt comfortable in. As time progressed I was presented with an opportunity to move over to a worldwide, industry leading Mining OEM company. Commonly known as EPIROC.Well, this is where I was to spend close to 14 years of my life, which sculpted me to the person I am today. I had the opportunity to work both in Adelaide Based Workshop conducting Rebuilds of Major and Minor Components, Breakdowns from Underground and Surface Drilling Rigs Also Underground Trucks and Loaders. Then FIFO format both Underground and Surface detail. Conducting Major PCR Works and Breakdown requirements across a range of Fixed Plant and Mobile Plant requirements.For a period of time I was fortunate enough to be a Maintenance Supervisor of SA/NT.Now I am HOME.. B L Shipway presented a position as a Technical Sales Representative which I can utilize all I have learnt over the years from Breakdowns (in a harsh environment) to a Board Room environment. It takes me all over the place and at times challenges me which I thrive on. I love where I am, it is a great place to be with fantastic opportunities and people.
