Manage all legal affairs for Terlato Wine Group. Currently serve on the 5 person Executive Committee that manages Terlato. Manage the Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Events, and Facilities Departments at Terlato, which are comprised of approximately 20 team members. Expertise in efficiently creating innovative solutions to complex legal problems in the following areas:• Highly Regulated Alcohol Beverage Laws —Responsible for all licensing and regulatory matters for Terlato. Provide Legal and Business advice on Trade Practice Laws, three tier system compliance, label compliance, importing and exporting regulations, and state law compliance. Always provide business friendly and creative solutions that further the company objectives within the confines of the law. • Corporate/Mergers & Acquisition/Commercial Transactions Law—Negotiate all aspects of acquisitions, as well as importer and distributor sales and marketing agreements with foreign and domestic partners. Negotiate major Sponsorship Agreements with professional sports teams and music festivals. • HR and Employment Law—Responsible for all Legal and HR matters related to team members, as well as creation of, and adherence to, policies and procedures. Revised and updated all company HR policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining and promoting positive and fun company culture. • Intellectual Property/IT Law—Manage and protect all trademarks, brands and related enforcement matters.
