I am an experienced Medical Affairs specialist with a rich background in field- and office-based industry roles, work experience in the fields of infectious disease and immunology, and robust therapeutic knowledge in multiple disease areas. I am fluent in English and French, and actively engaged in direct patient care in community pharmacy. I excel in conveying scientific information to diverse stakeholders while collaborating with government affairs, clinical research and sales teams to address patient needs effectively.After completing a Ph.D in Pharmacology & Therapeutics from McGill University, I studied pharmacy at University of Toronto and completed a Pharm. D. degree. My passion to be on the cutting-edge of patient care led me to purse a career in the pharmaceutical industry where I joined GSK. In the roles of Medical Science Liaison, I executed on the launch ambition for breakthrough vaccines, communicating the science to a variety of key stakeholders while gaining insights to inform actions and address gaps or concerns from healthcare professionals in my territory. In the role of Medical Advisor, I led numerous initiatives, including the medical omni-channel strategy, pre-launch scientific engagement plans for pipeline vaccines, and the medical conference strategy, thereby contributing significantly to expanding disease awareness and vaccine access.In addition to my industry experience, I have continued to work part-time as a licensed pharmacist in the community setting.
