My responsibilities include draining motor oil and changing the oil filter, washing the windshield, adjusting tire pressure, inspecting and topping off fluids, assisting the customer in selecting oil type and other services, processing payment for services performed, restocking and maintaining inventory levels on the floor, maintaining shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness. Additionally I am responsible for administrative tasks around the shop, dealing with customer complaints, training new employees, and making sure the shop runs smoothly on the manager’s days off. Manage a group of 5-7 technicians. Open and close the shop at the beginning and end of shifts. Perform official money count every night. Uphold a high standard of customer service. Ordered and received shop inventory. Counted and adjusted inventory in the point of sale.

Responsible for knocking on doors in a predetermined area to verify that the residents were homeowners that had a copy of their electricity bill, and then dispatched leads to a closer if the homeowner was interested in the program. Additionally was responsible for driving the van full of other finders to the locations we would be working to drop them off in their canvas areas, and picking them back up to return to the office at the end of the shift.

I accepted requests to walk people's dogs either scheduled in advance or on demand.

I was responsible for arriving at an assigned apartment complex to assist with grounds keeping and other maintenance tasks, including trash pickup, placing notices on doors and helping maintenance staff with apartment repairs.

I was responsible for making sure the rotisserie warmer was full of chickens and ribs for the members to purchase. I skewered the chickens and cooked them, making sure that they were at a safe temperature before placing them in containers in the warmer. After the four hour time limit I had to remove the chickens from the warmer and break them down to be chilled and sold in groups of legs/thighs and breasts. I was also responsible for preparing meals in the Home Meal Solutions area and putting them into the cooler for members to purchase. Requested to move back to the Member Service department after two months.
