Participated in the Bank's Leadership Development Program designed for credit analyst training. Rotated through three different commercial banking industry verticals within five banking groups including commercial/industrial, asset based lending, and commercial real estate. Evaluated financing requests for new and existing clients and worked with relationship managers to determine appropriate financing structures. Underwrote financing requests and prepared internal loan memoranda that were submitted to MB’s loan committee consisting of C-suite executives and senior credit officers. Worked on numerous transactions, of which $250 million was new money. Other responsibilities included up-front financial analysis and tracking company performance, covenant structuring and tracking, and industry and company research.
