Maersk Oil Qatar – Head of Data and Information Management Heading up a team of four headcount positions and many project resources, I am responsible for data and information management in Maersk Oil Qatar. This was a new team I was tasked to set up and deploy within the business, in the first year highlights include setting up a multi discipline data governance team to look at data quality, compliance to local regulations and partnering Maersk Corporate on Data and Information Management projects such as CSDR and EDMS. Presented at E & P Master Data Management Conference in Morocco 2013.* Responsible for the D/IM strategy and set up – driving the design and development, upgradation, testing, implementation and maintenance of all MOQ D/IM systems * Assess and evaluate all D/IM projects, contracts and operations with regards to cost and time implications and also alignment to business strategy/priorities * Ensuring high quality service delivery of data management, records management and document control * Contributes to the overall IT vision & strategy for the areas of responsibility * Pro-actively liaise with other Maersk Oil entities (e.g. Aberdeen, Copenhagen, Houston) in order to harvest potential synergies through joint initiatives and knowledge sharing * Engages and motivates direct reports to maximise overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team * Ensuring allocation of workload and delegation of responsibility is based on expertise and resource availability within the team
