Savills lost the Management Contract of the ING Retail Portfolio to Oyster Property Group (nee Prime). Re-employed once more as Centre Manager of Meridian. Other opportunities regularly presented themselves via Oyster, but was stifled somewhat by my resistance to relocate.

Continued authority over Dress Smart Hornby (Christchurch) and Meridian Mall (Dunedin) until July 2016. Relinquished Hornby due to expanded dedicated resource within Head Office, and a greatly increased workload within Meridian which necessitated additional focus.

Employed as Centre Manager of Meridian until June 2006 when Savills lost the management contract of ING's New Zealand portfolio. Offered an alternative position based in South Korea by Savills National Director of Asset Services to develop the retail asset management function and deliver class leading retail advisory services to the growing number of Savills clients in the Asian region. Although this was an incredible opportunity I respectfully declined.

ING’s default managing agent was JLL Australia, employed by JLL as Assistant Centre Manager. JLL lost the management contract of Australasia in October 2004. Offered two alternate roles, being the Management of a large Brisbane Shopping Centre that was about to undergo a major refurbishment, and that of heading up their Brisbane based Queensland retail leasing team. I respectfully declined these opportunities.
