CurrentQuality Management Oversight (QMO) Project Coordinator: Metro’s Program Management Department is delivering a capital program valued at approximately $18B over 10 years. Serves as a Quality Management Consultant to develop, improve, and implement a Quality Management Oversight Program for Metro’s Major Capital Improvement Transportation Projects. The Quality Management Oversight Program spans design, environmental, construction, project management, construction management, project controls, materials testing, and safety. This role facilitates training for Metro project team groups through a Learning Management System, in-person training workshops and one on one training. Facilitates the input and maintenance of contract requirements, prioritization of design reviews, and construction oversight inspections, coordinating with Metro's materials testing personal as part of their materials testing program to determine overall quality levels of the associated materials, monitoring and reporting upon completion and acceptance status, and preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly status reports / logs which will be used by project teams can ascertain the status of their oversight efforts.Critical Activity Point (CAP) Manager/Deputy Construction Quality Manager: This $929.2M Design-Build Project adds capacity delivering a critical link that will widen the existing 10 miles stretch of the I‐10 freeway between the Los Angeles/San Bernardino County line and I‐15. Responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the Design-Builder’s Project Quality Management Program through project close-out. Responsibilities include ensuring all testing and inspection has been validated per contract requirements for roadway and structures critical activity points before Contractor work progresses. Also has directive over Construction Quality Validation Inspectors/Technicians, and issues Stop Work Orders, NCRs, and RFIs.
