15+ years of experience in software development in the private and public sector, working with .Net (most recently C# and Asp.Net MVC as well as .Net CORE), Delphi, PostgreSQL and SQL Server, Javascript, JQuery and Kendo UI for JQuery, HTML and CSS, along with other Microsoft and third-party products such as QuickBooks, Sharepoint, Visio and Excel.Despite not having a formal education in coding, I was able to break into the software industry and forge my own path to a successful career. My experience covers all layers of the software stack, much of it involving learning unfamiliar technologies and systems, so I'm accustomed to adapting to new situations and requirements as they arise. I see team collaboration as a crucial aspect of development work, and am grateful for the many opportunities I've had to be a part of amazing and talented groups of developers.With an educational background in art, I enjoy applying my sense of aesthetics to the challenges of front-end design, however I'm also quite familiar with what it takes to make an efficient and effective back-end. One of my favorite things about my job is being able to design a product or interface that not only looks great, but is intuitive to users who may not be technically minded.
