When I was 5 years old, I took apart my Garfield the Cat portable radio because I needed to know what I made it work. I've gone on to do that same thing, but with software, computers, and networks.Today, I write software. I enjoy debugging and reverse engineering because they give me answers. Knowing how systems and networks work at low levels has made me a better software engineer, as a result. I have worked in threat hunting as part of a CSIRT, vulnerability research and exploitation, network vulnerability scanning engine development, and software and network protocol reverse engineering.These days I mostly write software in Go and Javascript. In the past, I have worked with Ruby, C/C++, Objective-C, Java, and Python.
