Contract management of Great Barrier Island Road corridor Maintenance contract as well as South & Central Bus-stop contract and minor safety improvements within the Auckland region. In this role I was responsible of delivering annual rehab/reseal program as well as cyclic work and road maintenance for GBI and working with AT/AT Metro to improve South and Central Bus stop network to meet their demand of increasing the availability of Public Transport in Auckland as well as minor safety improvements within Auckland.

In this role I was responsible for the day to day management of three maintenance crews. Project managing enabling works on a number of Auckland Transport pavement rehabilitation projects, pre-seal repairs for contract's both asphalt and chip-seal sites, Sealed Road Maintenance for asphalt crews and other private jobs. I was involved in planning, programming and site management, working closely with engineers and foremen to allocate resources for projects. It has helped to utilize my experience to lead and motivate my crews enforcing safety around worksites and finishing all work to high quality standards.

I joined the South East Maintenance in 2012 and was involved mostly in organizing pre-seal repairs for both asphalt and chip-seal reseal sites and also enabling works for Rehab sites and Sealed Road maintenance for asphalt crews. I had direct responsibility for preparing TMP's, service plans investigation and mark outs and allocating resources on job by job basis. I was directly responsible for delivering what is needed for the crews to successfully deliver the job.

My main responsibilities were for QA management of asphalt hand-laying crew outputs. In this role I learnt valuable skills in hand laying methodologies, QA requirements and team communications, recording and reporting for monthly claims. I also worked in various stages as a hands on laborer with responsibility for sand-circling the local maintenance contracts chip seal sites and also general laboring from shoveling to screeding in the hand-laying crew.
