Customer Service Rep
CurrentCurrently working as a Customer Service Representative, answering questions on Tax Law. My customers are primarily employers, who need assistance with certain tax forms. I research through publications, IRS Code, IRS Regulations, IRS Bulletins, and Form Instructions to ascertain the correct information to relay to my customers. I answer questions on basic Tax Law, referring more complicated problems to my supervisors. I began working for the IRS in the Tape Library, where I monitored, cataloged, managed, and circulated over 50,000 tapes. I left the Tape Library after receiving a promotion and transfer to the Call Service Site.
