I've always found programming to be interesting and fun. Over years, I've built many games and websites as a hobby. In a sense, therefore, I can say that I have 10 years of experience with coding!I enjoy constantly pushing the limits to see what I can do. Once, for example, I got two distributions of Linux to run side-by-side sharing the same kernel. By pressing ctrl+alt+f7, you could switch to Ubuntu. By pressing ctrl+alt+f1, you could switch back to Manjaro. The setup wasn't perfect. It did have some flaws, but I'm still satisfied with what I managed to accomplish. I have a couple more stories like this. One is about trying to compile a piece of software for a system that didn't have a compiler. Another is of coding a perspective transformation which required a good bit of linear algebra. Yet another is figuring out how my tablet limited its charging to 85%, so that I could limit it myself when it was on a custom rom.I also enjoy working with others on coding. Currently, I'm working on a project to make Python API bindings for the Haiku operating system's API. I am working with two others on this project. One has a comparable level of skill, and is only 14 years old! The other one is not so skilled, and so I provide help as they try to work on the API. The nice thing about this project, is that there is a larger community around the Haiku operating system. It's how I got interested in the project in the first place, and it may be how I find the next one.
