An automotive professional with 12 years of experience in the industry. Starting from working in the express department changing oil to reaching Nissan Master Technician status with Leaf, Hybrid, and Titan Diesel specialty designations. Currently ASE master certified technician with ASE 1-9 + L1 certifications while working on Honda Master Technician status. I also have time spent working with the manufacturer as field technical specialist assisting with dealership service processes and remote/in person technical support covering 37 dealerships in the Southeast region. Skilled in Implementing out of the box thinking and working outside of the normal troubleshooting trees to assist technician with difficult to diagnose vehicles. I have a well-rounded blend of aftermarket and manufacturer specific training that I’m constantly looking to expand on. While I perform all normal technician requirements efficiently, my skillset of teaching Oscilloscope use, complex electrical diagnosis, and no code drivability are the specialty areas I find the most enjoyment in.My experience is a compilation of all the great technicians/trainers that have allowed me to learn from them as well as the difficult situations we’ve all overcome together. I’m constantly trying to perfect my teaching and leadership style to help build a shop culture anyone would be proud to join. My attention has always been focused on mentoring the technicians of tomorrow while breaking the status quo of today’s automotive industry. The technician shortage the industry is facing is a product of poor leadership and a lack of quality growth-oriented mentors. I plan on doing my part to make a difference in the industry and to create the leaders of tomorrow.I believe the highest calling is to serve others. I started working on vehicles for fun and turned it into a career. I now find fulfillment and purpose developing people and building teams.Success requires building a disciplined mindset, doing the hard work, leading by example, and continuous improvement.
