This team of 15 editors and writers continued to produce topical comment and features content, but also took responsibility for quality standards across the business. We fulfilled the content proofing requirements of various analyst-based business units. Before this point, Datamonitor had no standardised methods of quality control.I led a project to ensure that the provision of commercial news plays a greater role in how Datamonitor helps its clients to address complex strategic issues. In addition to developing more analytical products, the project led to the creation of a department capable of publishing around 10,000 articles per month, a vast increase on the previous output.I also managed various consultancy projects, including a £70k company profiling contract for Reuters.
