About Michael Randrup
I am a very passionated leader in the offshore renewable energy sector with more than 6 years of international experience and with more than 15+ successful projects completions under my belt. I hold a Bachelor degree in Product Development Leadership and a M.Sc. In Technology and Operations Management degree and certificates in Project Management PRINCE2. My background and international track record shows operational business experience in all levels of the value chain, from the operational level running onshore and offshore production and project sites to management of highly complex special projects and huge service campaigns with up to 100+ employees, contractors and consultants, managing all types of vessels and helicopters and strategic decision making both in projects and on a corporate level. I have travelled many years and planned, managed and executed multiple sites and projects in many different countries. One of my major capabilities is business innovation drawing expertise from my degree in global business development and project/risk management with site management and SCM in addition to this acquired from my working experience. Instinctively I tend to see new and effective ways for problem solving and solutions with an planning and execution strategy in mind. Living in Denmark with my girlfriend and our dog, we are huge fans of outdoor activities and care about the environment. I love sailing and have traveled many parts of the world. I love interacting with new people and enjoy life’s adventures. I always try to keep myself updated in the renewable industry and the newest technologies.
