The Mediterranean People is a newly-formed coalition of marine environmental organizations in Israel that supports a network of local communities campaigning for the protection of the Mediterranean Sea from its current pressures and climate change vis-a-vis the establishment of regulated marine protected areas (MPAs). The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel, Zalul, Eco-Ocean, Delfis, and the Israel Nature and National Parks Protection Authority are the organizations partnered with ANU in this ecological and climate change initiative for preservation of the Mediterranean.

Responsible for the operations management and response to human and natural disasters in the Southern District of the Region of East NY State. Working with Governmental, none governmental as well as community based organizations the Manager develops community resiliency to climate change and brings together the stake holders to plan and train, respond, and recover from large scale emergencies caused by humans or nature. As part of the leadership role in the community I have served as a co-chair in a COAD’s as well as on several State wide Recovery Groups. I have developed climate resilience programs together with communities to prepare them for future disasters. As part of my service to the Red Cross I have been deployed to Hurricane Sandy in 2012 as a Health Service Supervisor, to the New Floods in 2013 as a Community Partnerships (CPS) Supervisor and to Colorado Wild Fires as a Community Partnerships as a Supervisor.
