I currently have 37 years of law enforcement experience. The first 30 years were spent in the Village of Hoffman Estates. During the beginning of my career I was assigned to patrol and was also an Evidence Technician and Field Training Officer. I then moved on to the Investigations Unit as well as being assigned to Conant High School as the School Resource Officer. I was promoted to Sergeant in 2006 and was a street supervisor before being transferred to the Traffic Unit. In 2015, I was promoted to Lieutenant and retired in 2017 as the Investigations Division Commander. After my retirement, I was hired by the Illinois State Police as an Inspector with the Medical Marijuana Unit, now known as the Cannabis Control Office. I love my new position and the Cannabis Industry is certainly a great field to be a part of.
