For more than 50 years, Actiu has been designing and manufacturing office furniture in the province of Alicante, Spain, with a Mediterranean philosophy of innovation, commitment and sustainability from a social, economic and environmental point of view.Actiu is a company that is always on the move, making evolution and innovation the core of its DNA. The “A”, the first letter of the name Actiu, actually refers to the first letter of the alphabet. Leading the way has been Actiu’s vision for over 50 years: Actiu means “active” in Valencian, our regional language.Actiu is a family company that furnishes the headquarters of multinationals. But how did it get here? The story began in 1968. At that time, Vicente Berbegal set up a small workshop where he made his furniture to order. Together with his family, they founded a company called “Creaciones Berbegal”, which became a “home office” specialist in the 1980s, integrating television and then home computing into the furniture. In 1995 the Actiu brand was born, which 10 years later became one of the leaders in office furniture, we currently present in more than 90 countries on all continents. But although Actiu has grown, the company remains true to its roots: a family business that manufactures its products in Alicante, in southeastern Spain. A leader in its market, it now has 365+ employees and sales of more than 90 million euros.At Actiu we consider the workplace to be the heart of the company, the fundamental tool for creating a motivating, comfortable and efficient workplace. The values of hard work, innovation and ecology that have guided the group since its creation are a clear testimony to the company’s success. Thanks to its commitment, Actiu has positioned itself as one of the market leaders and were the first industrial building in the world to have been granted both LEED and WELL Platinum certification, we are also a carbon neutral furniture manufacturer.
