Interested in everything tech since he could walk, Mike spent the first ten years of his career building ever increasingly complex computer networks while developing rails and arduino applications in his spare time. This included getting his CCNA and CCNP certifications while designing multiple campus computer networks from scratch, managing multiple global locations with vmware, BGP, and MPLS/IPSec tunnels. With the rise in devops and infrastructure as code he has moved his focus to containers, kubernetes, Rancher, and Ansible. He currently works full time upgrading monolithic applications at his current company bringing them to cloud scale while drastically reducing their footprint and deployment times.
