Venture building focusing on agribusinesses in emerging and frontier markets.The Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership (now called Acceso), was an arm of the Clinton Foundation developing impactful agribusinesses from scratch, providing hands-on support to existing portfolio companies and investing seed and growth capital.My tasks in this role included:- Leading design of of new social agribusinesses in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico- Developing business model and strategy for new social agribusinesses- Building complex financial models to evaluate economic viability and capital needs- Evaluate farm-level financial model and livelihood impact potential of the business- Writing report on agricultural value chain in Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico

Venture building focusing on agribusinesses in emerging and frontier markets.Leading design of new impact enterprises from scratch with the goal of securing seed capital from impact investors and donors. The target markets were Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Succeeded in securing a total of USD 2.5m in seed funding for 3 business cases.My tasks in this role included:- Analyze various agricultural value chain analysis in Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam- Building business cases to be presented to potential investors and donors- Preparation of detailed financial models- Meetings with potential stakeholders (private sector, non-profit and government)- Management of field data collection (e.g., development of survey and training of field staff)- Planning the set up of pilot businesses in Myanmar- Fundraising for proposed businesses cases- Provide advice to existing portfolio company in Indonesia (palm sugar sourcing and processing)
