Michael Ringel is a Managing Director and Senior Partner at BCG, and the former Global Leader of Research and Product Development/Innovation. His TED talk on innovation can be viewed at TED.com.He is deeply involved in longevity, lifespan, and healthspan research, sitting on the Boards of Hevolution Foundation US and the American Federation for Aging Research. He is also Strategic Advisor for Life Biosciences, a biotechnology company focused on autophagy and partial reprogramming.Prior to these roles, Michael worked in academia, pursuing research in theoretical population dynamics and conducting field experiments in the Amazon basin near Manaus, Brazil.Michael has a B.A. summa cum laude in biology from Princeton University, a Ph.D. in biology from Imperial College and a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School.
