Equinix is specialise in providing core data centre infrastructure services to many of the world’s largest; System Integrators / Cloud providers, Financial organisations, Networks, Digital Media providers and large enterprise and Government customers.Responsibilities and duties:- Liaising mainly with onsite facility engineers, implementation engineers and the network engineers team on daily basis. - Provisioning of Telecommunications services/circuits (UTP and fibre optic).- Troubleshooting with any problems that may arise with the client's I.T infrastructure/services (i.e. Hardware installation/replacement, networking troubleshooting and configurations and telecommunication troubleshooting).- Responsible and ensuring that all the local internal records (i.e. network management and cross connect) is up to date, responsible for terminating any unused services/circuits upon request by the client(s).- Working closely with facility engineers to monitor all the mission critical systems such as UPS (Uninterupt Power Supply), CRACs (Computer Room Air Conditioning), AHU (Air Handling Unit) and Main/Backup generators are in working order within the data centre.
