Responsibilities and achievements included:- Project manager on projects valued up to $5.5 million, including scheduling, maintaining budgets, technical guidance, contract documentation, and liaised with external design engineers, vendors and clients;- Managed product design changes and initiated new products from design to production.- Combined Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with a strong aptitude for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control concepts to apply sound manufacturing principles to troubleshoot breakdowns, production and quality issues. This contributed to an increase in production efficiency by approximately 25%;- Maintenance management, providing technical guidance where necessary as well as developing a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan. Estimated and quoted various projects, then managed them from construction through to completion. Example – championed the procurement of a software package to streamline the estimating process. The software cost ~$1000, however its benefits and features were instrumental in being awarded a $1.0 million project;- Developed numerous quality, safety and environmental procedures and processes, which helped obtain certifications in ISO9001, ISO4801 Occupational Health and Safety and ISO14001 Environmental management systems;- Managed and administered project occupational health and safety, environmental and quality issue

identified issues affecting factory efficiency, quality and safety. Proposed solutions to identified issues and solutions were put in place from design, installation and through to commissioning.
