-Electrical Jobs: Hooking up controllers, Flow Sensors, conductivity sensors, Water Meters and Pumps-Diagnose causes of equipment breakdowns, tests parts with appropriate instruments, disassembles and assembles parts, and makes necessary repairs to equipment and associated components; primary area of expertise is water systems, chillers, large boilers and cooling towers.-Rebuild Pumps, Injector Valves and Foot Valves when needed-Performs preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.-Tests systems, compiles reports and communicates the results of findings and makes recommendations with the customer.-Responsible for collecting water and other material samples relative to water treatment and analysis-Responsible for adding chemicals to disinfect and deodorize water and other liquids.-Operates and adjusts controls on equipment to purify and clarify water, process or dispose of sewage, and generate power.-Responsible for Cleaning and maintaining tanks, filter beds, and other work areas using hand tools and powers tools

-Responsible for three different set ups; 1- Ozonenated System with RO skid and EDI 2- Steam system with RO skid and EDI 3- Mixed Bed system using Cat Ions and Anions.-Responsible for ensuring that PFW water generated for production and laboratory functions is of an acceptable quality in accordance with USP,QSP, and in-house quality standards. Maintain required system documentation per company policies and procedures, ISO standards, and cGMP.-Oversee daily operation, monitoring, testing, and maintenance of water purification equipment according to established standards and QSP’s. -Assist in planning and coordinating of departmental activities. (Shutdowns, media and filter change outs, cleaning of RO and EDI systems, and preventive maintenance of all associated equipment.-Review system performance and analytical data to troubleshoot and continually enhance operating efficiency. Respond to, assist and report on problems/failures within the water treatment equipment.

-Perform a full range of operational and maintenance activities on site support equipment including but not limited to: Firetube Boilers, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Chillers, Environmental Control systems (Regenerated Thermal Oxidizer), Cooling Towers, and Waste Water Treatment Systems.-Responsible for completing minor repairs and autonomous maintenance activities on site support equipment and document all activities through the Plant Maintenance computerized maintenance management system. Troubleshoot and achieve corrective resolution to abnormal conditions on all site support equipment.Assist with the development and improvement of department procedures, documents, and operating & maintenance practices.Provide support for the installation of new systems and equipment.Assists in the identification of energy conservation opportunities.Read and understand drawings, diagrams, schematics, OEM Manuals, and other manufacturers specifications.

- Operate, service and repair internal combustion engines used to power some of the Navy's ships and most of the Navy's small craft. Had to perform alignments on fuel, water and air piping systems that control operation of diesel engines used for ship propulsion, to propel small craft and to generate electrical power. Cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, testing and performing other preventive maintenance on diesel engines, reduction gears, air compressors, hydraulic or pneumatic clutches, steering engines and controllable pitch propeller systems. Operate and maintain desalinization plants used to make fresh water from sea water. Operate and maintain steam auxilary boilers. Operating and servicing refrigeration plants and air conditioning systems. Repairing or replacing valves, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers and control devices used with diesel engines and gas turbines. Perform test on oil, fuel and boiler water to make sure that all stayed within operating limits. Making entries into and analyzing machinery operating records and reports.
