Co-ordinate the inbound supply of bulk wine and the packing schedule to ensure availability across 100 plus lines. combining MRP with production efficencies to enable cost benefits whilst reducing stock holding. Calculate and communicate the remaining reserves and potential run out date to ensure fresh supplies can be secured.I also coordinate the launch and removal of numerous products throughout the year ensuring smooth transitions. We are also currently developing into other international markets which demands a higher level of technical detail to ensure compliance.

Making use of Market Intelligence, SAP APO and now Demand Solutions, provide an accurate forecast for key national accounts, allowing planners to buy in enough stock at the right time. Combining base, trend and seasonality to best predict the trends of the future across all product categories but with a focus on long lead time wines and key brands.Assisted in the integration and implementation of Demand Solutions into the planning team. Creating a range of reports and systems that allowed all supply chain scenarios to be catered for.

Buying and planning wines from around the world including organising the freight on long lead time products. This involves a lot of communication with the suppliers to determine production times and the freight companies to gain accurate updates on docking dates.

Managing all wine supplier out of Italy and within Italy. With the introduction of a consolidation warehouse in Italy this has allowed lead times and stock holding to be reduced. Tasks also include managing the transition betweeen vintages and label changes to the wine. Using SAP R3 and APO to maintain a large number of SKU's.Also co ordinate the internal movement of all wine within our radial sites to allow national availability with minimum stock holding.

Working with suppliers in the UK and Italy to source goods just in time for customers, being aware of customer promotions and lead times.Using SAP R3 and APO to maintain stock levels on 100's of different products.Looking at WOW to improve current processes.Monitoring KPI's and OTIF's for suppliers and customers to ensure optimal use of resources.
