Set up, developed, and supervised (for seventeen years) a new manufacturing department by originating close tolerance welding processes for steel industrial coils. Steel coils now represent one of the largest profit producing departments within the company, with coils averaging between $2,000 to $70,000 each. Manufacturing profits for this facility increased to one million to three million a month, a significant increase over the original production of $30,000 to $50,000 a month. The unique steel coil welding process I developed was also implemented in two additional facilities whose profits have also increased to one to three million a month. Additional department head responsibilities included supervising all facets of industrial steel coil manufacturing, including supervising welding personnel, scheduling, purchasing, quality, safety, testing, training and developing new welders, and assisting with product design changes. Clients included American Dryer, H2Gen, Lapco, and Lunaire.

Responsible for welding close tolerance projects such as conveyers for cigarette packing machines and aluminum duct work. Developed the welding process for fine mesh steel fiber screens for Allied Chemical. Other clients included Philip Morris and Hercules.
