Responsible for postgraduate programming, ISAEP, high school, middle school, and elementary school curriculum design, regulatory alignment with SOLs in Virginia and Common Core outside of the state for a 108 bed psychiatric treatment facility accepting patients aged 10-17. Supervises/provides professional development for staff of nine and coordinates PRN related services with contracted providers. Oversees compliance with IEPs, intrastate and out-of-state licensing bodies, and assures fidelity with UHS corporate education policies. Collects, analyzes, and reports academic outcome data to external stakeholders. Authors departmental publications, facilitates relationships with regional education partners, designs and implements programs to continuously enhance or improve existing offerings to students while supporting sound therapy.
