Michael has 45 years experience in research and development. His background includes, designing destruct systems for the solid rocket boosters for NASA during the Apollo Space Program, designing lasers and optical targeting systems for Aberdeen Proving Grounds, and 20 years experience designing and manufacturing NoteTakers, Printers, and Computers for the blind for Blazie Engineering, Inc. While at Blazie, he designed the first palmtop for the blind, and the first commercial portable Braille printer for the blind, recognized worldwide as the “Romeo Brailler”. His design talents encompass electronic circuitry, mechanical design, hydraulic systems, and the field of optics.He is self taught in all these disciplines and has received several awards for his accomplishments, including the “Golden Key Award” from the National Federation of the Blind.
