Failure Analysis Engineer
Current- Apply engineering theory, circuit analysis, and root cause analysis methods to isolate sources of failure in PCBAs and complex electromechanical assemblies- Define experiments to validate theory of failure- Identify and lead implementation of corrective actions with process engineering and quality teams- Interpret manufacturing test logs and measurements to isolate contributing factors driving production defects- Utilize standard test equipment to characterize device, component, and material performance, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, microscopes, thermal imaging, gauges, calipers, xray, etc.- Self-manage daily and long-term activities to meet program objectives with minimal management guidance, including prioritizing activities and leading outcomes of junior engineers- Express technical concepts in verbal and written forms to peers and management
