About Michael Rothstein

My career in the pharmacy industry began over 45 years ago but my love for pharmacy started long before. Pharmacy was the family business and it was only natural to follow in my father’s footsteps. Once I earned my pharmacy license I opened my own independent pharmacy in East Meadow NY. I owned and operated Elmar Pharmacy for over 20 years before changing my career path.I was offered a sales position with Kinray soon after selling the store. In my 25-year tenure with Kinray I moved up the ranks to Executive VP of Sales. By the end of my career I was managing fourteen sales reps with an annual net sales of one billion dollars in the tri state area. Upon my retirement from Kinray I went back to my roots as a pharmacist in an independent pharmacy. It was there my passion for helping independent pharmacies was rekindled. I am very excited to bring my experience and knowledge of the industry to United Pharmacy Network where I can make a difference helping community pharmacies thrive in this competitive market.I have now moved on to the All-Win Rx GPO network of pharmacies, where I expect to bring value and opportunity to independent retail pharmacy.
