My career has not followed the typical path. From my beginnings producing architectural drawing sets by hand for high-end residential homes, to managing the CAD team of a large, global retail chain's Corporate Architecture department. Eventually transitioning to IT and developing web-based applications for Corporate Real Estate, and ultimately leading technical teams to deliver pricing & promo solutions for international brands. Not to mention being a stay-at-home dad for two boys and then starting up my own architectural consulting business, it has been an interesting journey for sure!My background was originally in building architecture (high-end homes, commercial & retail), but I eventually transitioned into the IT world. This is where I was able to contribute my project management, communication & organizational skills toward team efforts and business improvements in the retail world. Throughout the course of my career, I have prided myself on my ability to deliver results that meet all business requirements, on time and on budget, whether as an individual contributor or leading a team. In 2012 my career took a detour when an amazing job opportunity presented itself to my wife, which relocated us from San Francisco to Columbus, OH and allowed me to be a stay-at-home dad and raise our two young boys. Both of my boys love baseball, and for about 5 years I have volunteered with the local Travel Baseball program as a coach and board member, being the lead organizer of our annual baseball tournament, which draws upwards of 50 teams annually. Eventually I started up my own consulting business, learning a new CAD platform, and providing architectural CAD drafting services on a part-time basis. But now I am looking for something more permanent and full-time where I can take advantage of all my past experiences and skills. I am progressive-minded and open to learning new developments in my field. I enjoy collaborating with others to achieve a common goal. I am a capable and consistent problem-solver skilled at prioritizing and managing projects with proficiency.
