My responsibilities were to coordinate with the Hotel Vice President in overseeing the direct communications, policies, procedures and operations of the Hotel Departments. This included Forecasting and budgeting hotel room revenue and occupancy, department payroll through controlling the FTE utilization, annual capital expenditures and the implementation and adherence of all internal controls, regulatory requirements and purchasing procedures.

Completely responsible for up to 400 Employees-200 Housekeeping, 40 Front Office, 20 Retail, 15 Bellmen, 12 Valet Attendants, 5 Spa Attendants, 10 PBX Operators and 20 Managers. •I was responsible for overseeing and directing all Communications, Policies, Procedures and operational aspects of all Hotel Departments. Our total guest positive comments increase by 23.5% YOY.•Forecasted and budgeted all Hotel Room Revenue, Occupancy, Payroll and Capital Expenditures. •Totally responsible for the implementation and adherence of all Internal Controls, Regulatory Requirements and Purchasing Procedures and achieved 100% compliance on each. •Implemented yield management procedures to maximize occupancy and revenue to the highest market value and increased revenues by 4.2% YOY and decrease annual cost by 3%.

Prepared the Forecasting and Budgeting documents for all Hotel Departments for Director’s review and presentation to CFO with zero modification or tweaking. •Monitored and control all operating expenses daily and achieved a decrease in cost of 2% and increased room revenue by 2.9%.•Resolved most Hotel related issues including correspondence to guest, vendor orders and payments, employee and Human Resources relations while insuring the Director was kept informed. •Create, coordinate and monitor the SOP’s of all Hotel departments including night audit procedures and reports, Housekeeping standardization of rooms cleanliness, PBX and Reservations phone etiquette and Front Desk check-in and out process. Our overall results on positive guest comments increased by 8% the first year and 6% the second year.
