For the past four years I have worked for CONSOL Energy in the Drilling Department, beginning as a Drilling Engineer and overseeing the daily operations on a horizontal rig. I then became a Rig Supervisor, where I began managing a team of drilling engineers. Now, in my current position, as a Drilling Team Lead, I plan, advise, and diagnose problems on three rigs drilling in the Marcellus Shale. Currently, one of the rigs has begun drilling at The Pittsburgh International Airport. Prior to Drilling I worked with Maintenance and Coal Operations Support for CONSOL’s Northern Appalachian Mines. I received my B.S. from Penn State University in May of 2010, where I also earned a Minor in Off Road Equipment. I enjoy working with the Engineers and Supervisors in my team to drill horizontal wells safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally responsible manner.
