This was done through the company’s List Rental Platform created by Alterian. Provide support to the Sales team by checking that the instructions given through LRP were going to provide the best results. Once the data was taken from the database, verified the data and manipulated it using Visual FoxPro on MS Windows so that the data was more user friendly for the client, along with tailoring it to their needs. This included recoding the information or providing a data dictionary for their use and providing the files in the required format. When the data was ready to send, request confirmation signed by the client which allowed comparison of the value of the order with the price being charged. The data was sent to the client in the requested medium (email, FTP, mailed on CD).
