Participated as a management representative on the Labour Management Committee for the SEIU workforce group and as a member of the hospital contract negotiation team.

Major accomplishments included renovation of the main station, the research, proposal development, and initiation of an additional ambulance station in the village of Eganville. Assisted in the start up of Central Ambulance Dispatching for Renfrew County, the establishment and training of the volunteer ambulance services in Denbigh and Deep River, development and implementation of policies and procedures, establishment of structural and functional audits, coordination of a community CPR training, and the provision of air ambulance (helicopter) service through a charter agreement with a local air firm. Directly responsible for providing mandatory training programs and regular inservice training to upgrade the basic qualifications of the attendants. Continued to perform ambulance calls on both land and air (helicopter) service as part of a crew on a regular basis.
